The NanoFx® (Nanofracture®) System consists of a reusable handpiece and a disposable PleuriStik™ K-wire, designed to perform microfracture procedures for the treatment of small, localized defects in articular cartilage.

The 1 mm PleuriStik creates significantly less surface disruption compared to standard microfracture techniques and is specifically designed to minimize damage to the subchondral plate.

This instrument is capable of penetrating to a standard depth of 9 mm to reach the targeted bone marrow cells—approximately three times deeper than conventional microfracture techniques.
